At Living Faith Community Church, we aim to cultivate opportunities to meet the needs of our church body, our community, and our city.

MERCY & JUSTICE
The purpose of the Mercy and Justice Ministry is to seek God's justice and to show mercy to His people. To equip and encourage our church to be more aware of mercy and justice issues, serving opportunities and helping others in need, both within the walls of our church and beyond. To deepen our relationship with our current partner organizations. To impact the surrounding community with God's justice and mercy.
We seek to accomplish this via our monthly nursing home visitations in Flushing, NY and via ongoing support of Boro Pregnancy Counseling Center, a Queens-based pregnancy crisis center that seeks to defend the life of the unborn through emotional, financial, and spiritual support for their clients. We also minister to the felt needs of congregants who are going through transitional times with our meal delivery service: Home for Dinner.
If you'd like to get involved with the Mercy & Justice Ministry, please contact Sumin Kim: (email@example.com).
Nursing Home Ministry seeks to share the Gospel with the residents of the Sapphire Rehabilitation Center in Flushing, NY through long-term relationships built from our monthly visits. Our visits consist of sharing stories, helping residents with arts and crafts, singing worship, and sharing a brief Gospel message. We hope to give the residents a sense of familiarity and comfort in knowing that we at LFCC are a part of their community, and that we are praying for them and showing love to them through the gospel.
The Nursing Home Ministry is a great volunteer opportunity for families in particular. The residents love to interact with young children, and it's a great opportunity for parents to model service to our children at an early age.

Our Welcoming Team aims to foster a welcoming and non-intimidating environment for new visitors to our church. We accomplish this by getting to know visitors on Sunday mornings and then later on via follow up contact. We also guide new visitors towards membership classes and host quarterly welcoming lunches to help people get plugged into our community, so that they can discover ways to build relationships and serve.
If you have a heart to serve the new attendees of our church, please contact Sharon Kim: (email@example.com).
global missions team
Our Global Missions Team (GMT) functions as an important liason between our church-sponsored missionaries and our congregation. We seek to nurture relationships with our missionaries around the world to encourage them and edify them in their work, while also keeping our congregation well connected to our missionaries by raising support, providing regular updates and organizing missions trips.
